Blogpost 4 - Content marketing plan
The content plan has been created in two separate apps. The first is in Trello, a project management software that is especially useful for collaboration within and across teams. Large overwhelming projects can be broken down into more manageable bites to be achieved over a period of time with clear deadlines. The team member responsible for a particular task can move the job along a Kanban board, if any roadblocks are encountered, they are easily visible, and a project manager can act quickly before it holds up the entire project.
A similar content plan has been uploaded to Monday, a similar project management platform with a variety of templates and customisable views. A Gannt bar chart has been included to show how a variety of tasks can be seen in the form of a timeline line view. This view allows the team to stay organised, have overall visibility and keep everyone involved on track.
I have included tasks for the creation of three assets, an image, video and infographic throughout the stages of pre-production, production and post-production. The assets are clearly colour coded for easy visibility with details related to each task and who is responsible, in this case, I am the sole owner of the project. A resource plan for the assets has been listed, this is required to ensure the team is prepared and that time is used in a cost-effective manner.
The marketing objective that will be focused on is to increase conversion rates for the new nail polish collection, To The Moon and Back by 10% utilising a Facebook Ad campaign to entice buyers to act onsite by encouraging them to move from browsing to a buyer. This campaign will run for a period of five months starting in March 2022 and is targeted towards an audience who has liked Kester Blacks Facebook page and their friends. The campaign assets will include an image of the new colour products, a short-form video of 15 seconds showcasing the new products and a downloadable infographic with practical hacks on how to create artistic nail art from everyday household items. This marketing goal aligns with targeted to Kester’s buyer persona with a focus on clean formulas and using eco-friendly recycled materials to create nail art.
